I have about 2-3 favorite bands for every style I listen to (which makes about 180 or so favorite bands o_O ) but if I had to make a more defined list:
1. Children of Bodom
2. Dimmu Borgir
3. Mudvayne
4. Old Man's Child
5. In Flames
..and sniffing fifth place would've been Static-X and The Kovenant. I listen to alot of lighter stuff also, the list is pretty heavy because it's what I lean towards mostly.
